The Camp Wabikon 2012 November Reunion and Open House will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 17. The event will take place at Armour Heights Public School, 148 Wilson Ave., Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
This summer, YMCA Camp Elphinstone campers and staff in session on August 7 were asked to participate in a video project funded through the YMCA Innovation Fund. Parents may think they know what their children are getting out of their summer camp experience. After all, they did the research, listed to the camp director’s sales pitch, highlighted passages in the camp’s brochure. But they may never really “get it”–unless they’ve been a camper or a camp staffer themselves.
