A Step Ahead Blog Get It Done...FOR US! Alright time to get something going here, guys. You know when gas prices went up, we pulled into the pumps one day and said, "Wow!" But we had no choice, so we ponied up and paid it. When the credit card companies inform us that our new rate is 21% instead of the 12% that it was, we say, "Dang!" and we pay it. When the government tells us that our $210,000 home now has a value of $170,000 because wizards like Barney Frank and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac opened our check book, WROTE OUT A FEW TO THEMSELVES, and laughed in our face while millions were lost, again, we take it on the chin. Well how about tomorrow morning, the tide goes the other way and just as easily, just as effortlessly, the shoe is worn on the other foot. All unsecured debt drops a zero.
