Cumet was a longtime director of PRO URBA, a company recognized in France for its innovation in games, urban furniture and ground surfaces for public spaces. Halloran, known for “Paintings Below Zero,” a public art exhibit in ice, turned to his appreciation of impressionist painter Claude Monet and the French surrealists in creating his lotus leaf paintings for “Lotus in Motion.”
