This-N-That

Fashion Sense

The men’s fashion article was quite unexpected, but I liked that (“Suit-able” Attire, PRB August, Ron Ciancutti).

I grew up in California, where most guys wear the same clothes they cleaned out the garbage cans with to the fanciest restaurant. When I was hired for a job in N.Y., they told me I can’t dress like that and actually gave me some money to get some NY “duds.”

Now I dress better and circumstance-appropriate.

Word On The Web

On “Eagles Rule,” September 2 Week-Ender blog post:

Randy,

I enjoy reading your weekly blog. I especially liked today’s story about bald eagles. One of my favorite places to hike back home in Iowa is at Backbone State Park. The eagles soar by at eye level when you’re on the ridge, and their screeches reverberate in the canyon. It’s so amazing!

Anyway, thanks for a good read.
