The Twelve Days Of Winter

You and your family are the game pieces on Lake Metroparks’ life-size, interactive winter game board.

Would you like to be part of the Twelve Days of Winter game?

The Twelve Days of Winter game exhibit runs through Jan. 1, 2012, at the Penitentiary Glen Nature Center in Kirtland, Ohio.

The life-size game board allows you and your family to take a turn, pop the dice and move from space to space, exploring nature’s winter offerings as you go.

You can also have a snack, make a craft and check out an exhibit of classic family board games from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.

The Twelve Days of Winter is open noon to 5 daily (noon to 3 on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve; closed on Christmas Day).
