You know what a series of warm days and cold nights means, don’t-cha? It’s time to tap the sugar bush at Swine Creek Reservation and start reaping the sweet benefits of 800 generous sugar maple trees! Here’s a glimpse at how the guys go about their business on this highly anticipated day.

Want to see the maple sugaring process for yourself? Visit Swine Creek during Geauga Park District’s FREE annual Sap’s-A-Risin’! celebration, running noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays, March 11, 18 and 25, 2012. Learn more at www.geaugaparkdistrict.org.
