In Dublin, Ohio, we have a parade and a wreath-throwing ceremony, along with a military ceremony at the Dublin Cemetery. The event is run by the local American Legion and VFW and other military organizations with strong support from our City. Our former City Manager was in the Coast Guard and our current Economic Development Director just became a Brigadier General! We have a Memorial Day Commemoration at the Grounds of Remembrance in Dublin Veterans Park. They have a complimentary picnic lunch near the Dublin Library.
We have a huge Independence Day Celebration on the 4th of July. For all of the festivities, go to www.DublinOhioUSA.gov/veteranspark or our parks and rec brochure online at www.dublinohiousa.gov and go to the Parks and Rec brochure. The events are listed on page 77.
