Nesquik Tips Glass For Boys & Girls Club

Glendale, Calif.– NESTLÉ NESQUIK today announced that NESQUIK has partnered with Major League Baseball team, The New York Mets, to host a charity WIFFLE Ball Tournament to benefit Madison Square Boys & Girls Club.  In July and August, Madison Square Boys & Girls Club will host an internal playoff among the youth they serve, with the top two teams of ten earning a chance to attend the WIFFLE Ball Tournament on September 15, 2013 at Citi Field prior to the Mets vs. Marlins game at 1:10 p.m.  Former Mets players Edgardo Alfonso and Bud Harrelson will be on hand to serve as celebrity coaches at the WIFFLE Ball Tournament.

“Nesquik is a brand that encourages an active lifestyle and fun activities especially with youth, so organizing a WIFFLE ball tournament together with Madison Square Boys & Girls Club and the Mets was a win-win for us,” said Daniel Koch, Marketing Manager for Nesquik.

“We are pleased to be working with Nesquik to help support the youth in our community and provide a really fun and entertaining opportunity for the children of Madison Square Boys & Girls Club,” said Mets Executive Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer Lou DePaoli. “We look forward to providing great times and memories for everyone involved as they can root for the Mets and their WIFFLE ball teams at Citi Field on the same day.”
