MLB Seeks Pitch, Hit & Run Hosts

Major League Baseball is looking for host communities for its annual Pitch, Hit & Run skills competition.

Last season's Pitch, Hit & Run finalists

Pitch, Hit & Run provides boys and girls the chance to advance through four levels of competition, including Team Championship events at all 30 Major League ballparks and the National Finals at the MLB All-Star Game.

Host communities for the local level of the competition receive a handbook, registration forms, awards and promotional materials, and are asked to administrate the competition, tally the scores and award the champions.

After the competition, the communities then submit the results and registration forms to MLB PHR Headquarters and pass along advancement information to local champions.

Interested communities should go to to sign up.

But hurry — space is limited!
