Medina Ice Festival

We would be remiss if we didn’t give a shout-out to our hometown’s annual ice festival.

Carving ice for the competition

Held on Medina, Ohio’s, historic town square, the 17th Annual Medina Ice Festival will feature a full weekend of ice carving competition, shopping and visual entertainment.

The schedule:
Friday, Feb. 18
5 p.m. — Carving Demonstrations
8 p.m. — Fire and Ice Tower

Saturday, Feb. 19
1 to 4 p.m. — Individual Carving Competition
4 to 9 p.m. — Works of Ice Art on View

Sunday, Feb. 20
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Carving Competition
3 p.m. — Medina Gazette Ice Prince and Princess Crowning

Monday, Feb. 21

Medina’s Public Square is at 5 Public Square, Medina, Ohio 44256, 30 minutes west of Akron and 30 minutes south of Cleveland.
