The student-funded project consists of a two-court gymnasium, jogging track, fitness center, locker rooms, multi-purpose fitness studios, administrative offices, juice and snack bar, and a wellness center. It was designed and constructed to meet the new California State University Program for Environmental Responsibility and is LEED Gold equivalent. Solar-thermal collectors, radiant heating, energy-efficient lighting, water-efficient plumbing, and stormwater collection via bioswales are among the highlights.
