Improving Indoor Air Quality

In December 2005, 14 people were killed and 11 more were injured in a Russian indoor swimming pool when a concrete ceiling, supported by stainless steel rods, collapsed (Associated Press, 2005).     Our City currently has an olympic pool and we are considering installing a building over the pool. We live in South Texas and are not considering any A/C or DH at this time. Our plans are to have large 20′ doors around the perimeter and keep the doors open during the summer and use gas infrared heaters in the winter to maintain a comfortable climate.

    What are your thoughts for our situation and not utilizing any AC?
