Hike Responsibly During Mud Season

The temperatures are getting warmer and there’s so much Spring beauty to explore.

Hiking can be muddy business this time of year.

So of course hikers are ready to hit your park trails!

Unfortunately, early Spring brings with it melting snow, lots of rain — and mud.

Hiking on muddy trails can be tricky for hikers — and trickier for for the trails themselves and for the park staff who maintain them.
