There is a child abuse section in each Cub Scout book and parents are supposed to read through it with their child. They take the issue very seriously and I suppose we should too.

Our media has gotten completely out of hand. If Fine is innocent, I hope the media makes as big a deal about making sure the world knows that as it has of publicly hanging him. But as you said, that won’t be as big to them, so I am sure it won’t happen. In the case of Jim Boeheim, we have self-righteous groups screaming for him to be fired because he initially defended his lifetime friend, which was understandable. He has since apologized. He has said he should have just waited for the facts to come out. But before it is over, just watch, he will lose his job even if he did nothing wrong.
