Celebrate the freedoms championed by Martin Luther King Jr. by enjoying a free visit to a national park in honor of his birthday.
Admission to a number of national parks, national forests and Bureau of Land Management areas will be free Jan. 14-16.
If you’re in the Washington, D.C., area, include a visit to the newly dedicated Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, the newest member of the National Park System.
