City officials expressed an interest in increasing the quality and capacity of existing municipal athletic fields. In order to accomplish this, they converted the natural-turf grass facilities to FieldTurf synthetic turf. Youth-sports teams are now ready to host a multitude of football, soccer, softball and Little League baseball games.
