Egg-cellent Idea

Looking for a different kind of Easter egg hunt?

Trade the grass for the water, like they do in Tupelo, Miss.

Tupelo’s Parks and Recreation Department sends the kids into the pool to hunt for Easter eggs.

The 2nd Annual Underwater Easter Egg Hunt will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the city’s Rob Leake pool.

Age groups are 3 and under (kiddie pool), 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. Prizes will be in abundance.

No need for their Sunday best — just wear their bathing suits and bring a towel!

After diving for their eggs, the kids can play Pin the Tail on the Bunny, participate in the Egg Roll, compete in the Bunny Hop Potato Sack race, visit the Easter tattoo parlor, and help paint a monster mural wall.
