Conservation Award Nominees

Regional conservation nonprofit Wild South has announced the Nominee Finalists for the 2011 Roosevelt-Ashe Society Conservation Awards.

Wild South is working to promote conservation in the Southern United States.

The awards recognize and honor outstanding conservation work to protect wild places in the South.

The 2011 nominees represent six U.S. states and exemplify dedication and passion for environmental conservation. The winners will be announced and awards presented at The 4th Annual Green Oscars–the Roosevelt-Ashe Society’s Green Tie Gala–on March 23 in Asheville, NC.
