The 2011 Alabama Trails Conference will be held April 1-3 at Fairhope Civic Center in Fairhope.
Conference session topics include:
•trail partnerships
•funding sources
•economic benefits of trails
•trails and health
•trail project updates
•mobile workshops
About 250 people involved in planning, development and enjoyment of recreational trails are expected to attend.
The conference is presented by the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs, the National Park Service and Cheaha Trail Riders.
