Tick Tips

This year’s early spring and hot summer means there’s a bumper crop of ticks out there, just waiting to munch on unsuspecting humans.

These little insects can cause big trouble!

And this can mean a serious risk of Lyme Disease and other tick-borne illnesses.

Prevention is key: Be sure to wear protective clothing when you are hiking or camping, and use insect repellent.

After your adventures, be sure to carefully check for ticks on your skin.

The faster you remove a tick, the better the chance for you to stay healthy.
