You’ve set up your campsite or arrived at the woods or the park for a day with your family and friends.
But the kids are already bored, or aren’t sure how to get started with engaging with nature.
Time for a scavenger hunt!
Draw up that list of nature items to find and check off the list.
Or come up with some hands-on activities to cross off the camping bucket list–like skipping a rock, catching a fish or scrambling up a boulder.
Take photos of what you find on your scavenger hunt. Come back to camp and draw pictures or write a story.
