The annual 5K for Clay is a fun run/walk hosted by the Clay Madsen Recreation Center to honor the life of Clay Madsen, a Round Rock High graduate whose life was ended tragically early by cancer.
The run begins and ends at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center (1600 Gattis School Road, Round Rock, TX 78664) and follows a looped course. It will start at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11.
Pre-registration ends Aug. 8, but registration is available the day of the event as well.
The 5K will be immediately followed by an open house at Clay Madsen Recreation Center for prospective new members to experience all the amenities the center has to offer.
