National Public Gardens Day

Friday, May 6, is National Public Gardens Day.

Admission is free to many public gardens on May 6.

The third annual nationwide celebration of botanical gardens, arboreta and other public gardens takes place the Friday before Mother’s Day.

Better Homes and Gardens is offering magazine readers a free admission coupon for two to visit a public garden that day.

The coupons will be valid at all participating public gardens on that day only. Readers can obtain the coupon on the Better Homes and Gardens website.

The coupon and an ongoing list of participating gardens can be found here: http://npga.bhg.com/?ordersrc=rdbhg100989
