Landscape Urbanism Forum

The San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association is hosting a forum on landscape urbanism this summer.

Landscape urbanism reimagines large cities and aging infrastructures through the integration of natural, structural, cultural and infrastructural layers of urban space.

Marco Esposito of SWA Group, Kevin Conger of CMG Landscape Architecture and Mona El Khafif of California College of the Arts will discuss whether this new buzzword offers a useful framework for understanding and shaping a city’s interconnected systems.

The SPUR forum will be held beginning at 12:30 p.m. July 27 at 654 Mission Street, San Francisco, Calif.

Admission is free to SPUR members and $5 for non-members.
