Cooper Lighting Products Featured

Cooper Lighting’s LED products represent about half of the recommended commercial LED models on the DesignLights Consortium Qualified Products List. The consortium is a collaboration of Canadian and U.S. utility companies and regional energy-efficiency organizations committed to raising awareness of efficient lighting in commercial buildings.

Of the 7,000 recommended products on the list, Cooper Lighting has more than 3,600 models represented across brands including Halo, Metalux, McGraw-Edison, Lumark, Invue and Streetworks.

Sol, Inc. Hires New Sales Staff

Jeff Murphy has joined Sol, Inc. as vice president of sales. Murphy will oversee sales, marketing and customer service for the provider of solar LED outdoor lighting solutions. Sol also has hired Curtis Mickey as Southeast Regional Manager and Scott Douglas as Western Regional Manager. In addition, Willis McCullough joins the company as Director of Strategic Accounts.

Fulton Adds Duties At Smart Growth America

Bill Fulton, board member, principal and shareholder at The Planning Center/DC&E, has assumed an additional role as vice president for policy and programs at Smart Growth America.

McKenna To Lead Cannon Design Sport Practice

Architectural, engineering and planning firm Cannon Design has announced that Colleen McKenna, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, has assumed the leadership role for the firm’s sports practice throughout the United States.

She will partner with Robert Johnston, MRAIC, AIA, who leads Cannon Design’s Canadian and International Games sport practice.

McKenna’s duties will include growing the firm’s sports presence in the U.S. and collegiate markets.
