I am starting a “Roads Less Traveled” drive (pun intended) to encourage people to stay off the Interstate and take those less-traveled roads that the Interstate caused to be – you guessed it — less traveled. I came to this decision during a recent trip my wife and I took from north-central Georgia to far south Georgia.     That makes me want to go on a road trip! My Dad called it ‘snousin’. You would take off in the general direction that you want to end up, taking whatever country road seemed to head in that direction. Except for getting carsick, those trips through the NC mountains are the greatest memories of my childhood. I guess I know where my sense of adventure came from.
