Greens Farms Academy in Connecticut created the first completely sustainable high school synthetic turf field in the state, selecting the Brock International PowerBase product as the athletic field underlayment.
The 80,000 square foot, multi-purpose synthetic turf field was created by FieldTurf. Since its installation, the playing surface has been used for field hockey, soccer, lacrosse, and other student activities.
Greens Farms Academy is an independent K-12 school comprised of 685 students from 30 surrounding towns.
