Seminar With Dr. Thurber
Camp Business contributor Dr. Christopher Thurber will present a workshop on camp leadership and behavior management on March 6 in Atlantic City.
“Harnessing the Power of Positive Psychology at Camp: New Advances in Leadership and Behavior Management” will help you turn the tables on traditional thinking about how you lead a team, manage behavior and tap your potential.
Topics include Appreciative Inquiry, Positive Psychology and Collaborative Problem Solving.
Learn best practices for changing the culture at your camp or after-school program, tapping into the strengths of your staff and participants, and resolving the most difficult high-conflict situations.
The program, sponsored by the New Jersey Parks and Recreation Association, will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, at the Trump Taj Mahal Hotel.
The fee is $75 for NJRPA members and $100 for non-members.
