Free Play At Summer Camp

Parents: When you are deciding which camp and what kind of activities you want your child to enjoy this summer, don’t undervalue free play.

Even at camp, kids need time to just play.

Unstructured play is important for a child’s development, and a good summer overnight or day camp director knows this and schedules time for your child to run around, interact with his fellow campers, negotiate game rules and create his own special fun.
