It was like watching a line-change in a hockey game.
My wife pulled into the driveway, slammed the car into park and jumped out. My three school-aged children and their science fair projects jumped in.
I stood on the sidelines, watching all the commotion and wondering about the huge brown blob on the driver’s side door.
I asked my wife about it.
She just laughed.
Apparently, it was -6 degrees when she left. Getting into the car, she spilled her coffee and it flash-froze to the paint. It’s now 4 p.m. and 20 degrees. The brown blob isn’t going anywhere soon.
It’s just been that kind of winter here in Ohio. Cold and snowy–though there are subtle signs that spring is drawing nearer.
One of those signs just landed on my desk–our Mar/Apr Buyer’s Guide.
And, as usual, it’s a winner–full of new programming ideas, water-safety tips, staff training ideas, camp profiles and, of course, the industry’s most complete Buyer’s Guide.
If this isn’t enough to keep you satisfied, check out our new website www.camp-business.com for daily updates on all-things camp. Like all Camp Business products, the new site is easy-to-use and easy to share with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or whatever social network you deem relevant.
It’s also mobile–so you really don’t have any excuse for not keeping up with the industry. After all, the industry is keeping up with you. It’s right there in your pocket. Check it out. Bookmark it. Share it. Love it.
I know we do.
Till next month…
