Rick Braschler, author of The Child Protection Plan and director of risk management for Kanakuk Kamps said, “We are pleased with the ongoing development of the Child Protection Plan in an effort to prevent, detect, or respond to child sexual abuse in a camp setting.
“The Child Protection Plan is unlike any safety system out in the market today for camps in that it provides nuts and bolts solutions and is field ready right off the shelf.”
The plan is a comprehensive safety system for the prevention, detection, and response of child physical, emotional, verbal, and sexual abuse in youth-serving organizations.
The goal of the plan is to establish a road map to equip organizations with a systems-based plan for safeguarding youth, detecting perpetrators, and sustaining the organization.
