CANOE CAMP
Hunterdon County Department of Parks and Recreation, Flemington, N.J.
When: July 23-27, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Where: Arboretum
Who: Entering grades 9-12
Cost: $250
This camp is designed to help campers become knowledgeable, effective, and safe paddlers. Beginner and intermediate paddlers will receive daily instruction and hands-on experience while paddling down several local waterways.
The week culminates in an overnight canoe camping trip on Thursday night.
